Jack Claypool is a senior at the University of Idaho and interned at NAI Black during the summer of 2017. He assisted the brokers in our office with various tasks and we enjoyed having him a part of our team. Here are some of Jack’s thoughts from working with NAI Black:

As an intern with NAI Black, I was provided with real life application that directly aligned with my education. First, I had the ability to apply classroom coursework to my internship position. Next, it was very beneficial to sit in on property management and brokerage sales meetings to understand the terminology and etiquette of the commercial real estate market. Finally, I am thankful that NAI Black provided me with a platform to learn workforce expectations and understand specific industry cultures from some of the best commercial real estate professionals in the region. I am graduating from the University of Idaho with a major in Business, and this internship was essential in my development of understanding the CRE market.

The Review Building in downtown (on the corner of Riverside and Monroe) is my favorite building in Spokane, which was built in the late 1800s. The red pressed brick and granite that composes the seven-story Romanesque tower building really brings a certain level of historic beauty to our city’s skyline.  Through my internship at NAI Black, I have grown true appreciation for these buildings.

Thanks for being a member of our team, Jack!
